The Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes won this year’s Super Bowl, but the mother of rookie receiver Skyy Moore is now going viral for her wish for her son at the Super Bowl.
In a mini-documentary called Before Your Eyes that focuses on the rookie and the behind-the-scenes views of the Super Bowl and post-game, Moore’s mother can be seen talking to his sisters, Raquel and Layke in a car about Moore and the fact that they want him to score a touchdown in every game.
And that is exactly what happened for Moore. After not scoring a touchdown throughout the regular season and the playoffs, the rookie receiver finally got his first in the biggest game on the NFL’s calender.
He has Patrick Mahomes to thank, as the Chiefs quarterback found him in open space in the redzone and the rookie simply waltzed into the endzone. It was almost like it was meant to be and the collaboration of Moore’s mom talking and then the receiver catching his first-ever touchdown was a sight to behold.
