In the immediate aftermath of the team’s Super Bowl win over the Philadelphia Eagles, members of the Kansas City Chiefs celebrated in kind.
However, star quarterback Patrick Mahomes didn’t give himself too long to celebrate the second Lombardi Trophy in four years. Just a few weeks after winning his second Super Bowl MVP award, Mahomes was back at it.
Earlier this week, the star quarterback posted a workout video on Twitter. “Back to it,” Mahomes wrote.
Fans thought he would take a few more weeks away from the game – especially after suffering an ankle sprain.
“Patrick’s gonna win another superbowl and pull a MJ on us leaving while on top and play baseball after a 3rd title isn’t he,” joked another fan.
“This why he is already in the convo as the best ever. And we have so much more ahead. He won the SB 2 weeks ago and look at him! I never take QB1 for granted,” said a third.
Fresh off another Super Bowl, Mahomes isn’t slowing down.
