Patrick and Brittany Mahomes threw an extravagant birthday bash for their daughter Sterling Sunday as she turned two, a week after the NFL superstar won his second Super Bowl.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his spouse, both 27, took to Instagram with clips and images from the celebration, in which they presented the toddler with a mini Chanel purse valued at $4,800.
In a clip they shared to the social media site, Sterling unwrapped the present as she sat on her father’s lap while enjoying a snack.
After she unwrapped the gift, her mother Brittany said to Sterling, ‘Did you get a new purse? Let me see what it looks like! Do you love it?’
As she enjoyed a piece of raisin toast, Sterling looped her hand through the handle of the small designer bag.
The celeb couple, who welcomed son Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III this past November, also shared clips from the sumptuous Sterling’s Two Sweet celebration they held for their daughter.
The party was decked out with multiple sweets, including donuts, cake and ice cream.
Sterling posed for photos on a small platform in front of a wall with a neon sign that read, ‘Sweet Dreams.’
It’s been a whirlwind month for the family, after Mahomes led the Chiefs to a 38-35 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona February 12.
Mahomes, who rallied back from an in-game injury to led his Chiefs to a comeback win, was seen with his family celebrating on the field in the wake of the gritty win, for which he was named Super Bowl MVP.
After the victory, the family traveled to Anaheim, California for a Disneyland trip, with Patrick writing on Instagram, ‘Welcome to the happiest place on earth, Bronze and Sterling!’
Mahomes, who inked a $500 million, 10-year contract in 2020, was also the center of attention at the team’s victory parade at Kansas City’s downtown’s Union Station last week.
In addition, Mahomes favorite on-field target, tight end Travis Kelce, is set to host Saturday Night Live March 4.
